Hi there! Thanks for taking a look at my blog! I am an educator and a passionate writer from northeast Saskatchewan. This site is used to share my educational goals, reflections, and experiences.
I have been working in the field of education for four years as an educational associate. I also have experience teaching in other capacities, including children’s programs at church and in extracurricular settings within the community. I have a passion for teaching that continues to grow as time goes on. I believe that a teacher has the potential to truly shape a child’s life. As I move towards my Bachelor of Education, I am hoping to gain resources, feedback, and experience that will help me to inspire children and instill in them a confidence to leave their comfort zone and keep learning.
I enjoy hiking, fishing, swimming, hunting, camping, horseback riding, skating, and gardening. Nature is amazing to me, and I hope to share my love of the outdoors with my future students.
Other things that fill my free time are cooking, baking, playing music, crafting, reading, writing, and sharing tea or coffee with others. Taking the time to be creative is important to me, and is something else that I hope to model to my students.
I will try my best to document my learning, in such a way that will inspire others and spark educational conversations. I hope you enjoy. Please feel free to leave a comment wherever you feel fit. Thank you!
